There seem to be two ways to boost your metabolism: eat more energy (“supply” – excess calories are at least partially burned rather than stored) or consume more  (“demand” – eg exercise, or exposure to cold weather). What is better? I’d say 

  1. Both together
  2. Demand
  3. Supply
